Floor Manager | Either/Or Eatery & Patio
We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional who leads by example, thrives in fast-paced environments, and knows how to keep service running smoothly, even on our busiest days! This is a hands-on, floor-first leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the action, solving problems, supporting their team, and creating great guest experiences.
You'll work three management shifts per week, scheduled by the General Manager, with the opportunity to pick up additional management shifts or work as a server or bartender. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership but still loves being part of service!
What This Role Actually Looks Like:
- Lead busy services with confidence. Take ownership of the floor, make decisions in real time, and keep the team moving during high-volume shifts.
- Be an active leader. Jump in wherever you're needed, whether that's expediting food, supporting the bar, assisting servers, or connecting with guests.
- Solve problems as they happen. Handle guest concerns, troubleshoot service challenges, and make quick decisions that keep operations running smoothly.
- Manage the flow of service. Oversee reservations, waitlists, seating, and guest flow using Toast.
- Support and develop the team. Coach employees in the moment, hold team members accountable, and set the standard for great hospitality.
- Set the tone. Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, positivity, and a commitment to quality.
What We're Looking For:
- Hospitality experience is required, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
- Someone who is comfortable taking initiative, providing direction, and jumping in to help.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, great food, and creating memorable guest experiences.
